The office portal is Community Partners collaboration center for creating the networks and complex bonds that our community needs to stay competitive in a global society.

Not only is it an example of the latest technologies that the Internet is taking us into called social networking, it is also a platform for keeping our communities on the cutting edge of technology by:

* using it to research, develop, and share with our communities those technologies that are shaping our world.

* creating the programs and projects where those who have the knowledge can easily share with those organizations within our community who need the knowledge.

Every person within a community has a role and responsibility for the development of their community. Community Partners through this office portal is providing opportunities for everyone to have an active voice in their community's development of the Internet.

We encourage you to take a look at the programs and projects that Community Partners is developing within our community and use the registration tab above to become an active voice in our communities development of the Internet.

Thank you.

Snap Shot of Community Partners

comnetCommunity Partners is bringing businesses and organizations in our community together in its plan to develop a nation wide network of community web pages that will be owned and operated by the community it serves. techlabCommunity Partners is developing a collaborative network amongst local technology labs, learning institutions and IT professionals in an effort to deal with the growing disparity between the cutting edge technology being taught to students in higher learning institutions and those students within our cities that can not afford to attend these types of institutions.

For Our Communities To Compete - We Have To Change The Way We Think.

We understand the drive that is within us to do things on our own,
but when it comes to developing the Internet if we don't take the time to come together as a community to develop it,
we will become a communitystovepipe of stove pipe organizations competing against each other in a global society and our communities will suffer.
For us to develop the Internet as a community we must, for a moment,
step out of our positions as leaders and members of organizations and
become leaders and members of our community.
By working together to develop the Internet not only will our own organization grow and prosper, so will the communities we live in.

Leaving No One Behind

leftbehind
A
s Technology advances with lighting speed we have to wonder how much of our community is being left behind
In 1965, a young engineer named Gordon Moore made the simple prediction that the number of transistors that would fit on a computer chip would double every eighteen months and so far that prediction has held true .
Technology spurred on by the Internet is overwhelming all of us. Even our government who can afford to spend billions of dollars on the latest computer systems are only investing in the latest technology for a short period of time.
As soon as computer systems are bought, or technologies learned they are on the road towards being obsolete, making it impossible for individual organizations to keep up with technology.
When it's organizations within our community that can't keep up then it's our Community that is being left behind !
This is why Community Partners' primary focus is on making sure that no one gets left behind !
